Today was the start of the second session. CIT’s arrived at 11:30 and helped the staff with welcoming the new campers at 1:00. The camp theme this week is ‘The Amazing Race’, just like the show.

While the new campers got swim checked and got to know each other, the CIT’s jumped right back into training. The units spent time making the weeks Campstitution, a document holding the expectations and rules of the unit that the campers come up with and then sign.

We had opening campfire tonight, causing laughs and smiles to be shared with those around. Activities all start up tomorrow so check back tomorrow to know what the campers are up to this week!
