Today dawned gloomy and rainy but that didn’t stop our wizard campers from making the most of our activity options. This summer Camp Timbercrest has embraced camper’s choice as a core part of our program model. Each activity block campers have had the opportunity to choose from three different activities. Some of the things they chose today, included: free boating, wand making, slip and slide, pinch pots, levitation, paper dolls, water toy, wizard ring toss, canoe races, gaga ball, create your own castle, and archery 101.

After a day full of activities campers arrived to the dining hall for the sorting feast where they were sorted into red, green, blue, and yellow houses. Later this week, we’ll break into our houses to play Quidditch at sports. The feast consisted of chicken, mashed potatoes, veggies, and rolls – delish!

After a grand feast the Tri-Wizard tournament commenced, where groups of campers completed three tasks to in a race to the Camp Timbercrest Cup! All of the teams successfully completed their challenges and headed off to settle down before bed!
