As we wrapped up our second to last day of programming at Camp Timbercrest, we had fun doing so many activities — from an escape from the forbidden forest to slime to paddle and paint, there was all sorts of fun to be had!
We also had a special guest volunteer, Feather, come out to teach fishing and even though it was a bit rainy there were fish to be caught! Feather also captured some fantastic nature photos that you can find in our photos for today, linked here.
It was an exciting day at camp, with many special guests visiting camp for a Rekindle event — this means we had lots of people to join us for our closing campfire where passed a torch to light the fire, sang songs, awarded campers their first-year gifts and said our ‘goodbyes’ to Camp Timbercrest. We reminisced on all of the days that we spent at camp — making friends, creating memories, and challenging ourselves to try new things. We closed out singing “Linger” thinking about how we all wish camp would last just a bit longer. We look forward to one more day full of fun tomorrow!
