It started as a beautiful, sunny day at Camp Timbercrest, but Mother Nature changed her mind in the afternoon. At about 2:45, there was a scattered thunderstorm, but the girls’ spirits were not broken.
Who Stole the Chocolate Chip Cookies started their day by playing card and board games in the dining hall. They then went to archery and painted rocks in Arts and Crafts. Once the sun came back out, the Girl Scouts concluded their day with swimming.
Timbercrest @ Night went to Archery after breakfast and set up their tents for a camp out.
Pastry Chefs went boating after breakfast and explored the merchandise that is sold in the trading post. Then they were in the kitchen making chocolate fondue.
Ready to Ride continued to gain experience on horseback and completed their daily barn chores. They also were able to go into the trading post and buy things as well.
Daisies & Brownies went in the water and played on the water toys today.
My Backpack, My Pony, & Me went to Arts and Crafts after breakfast and went on the water toys as well.
At around 2:45 everyone was in the dining hall playing board games, card games, and downstairs making things in Arts and Crafts.
When the storm finally cleared, each unit had their weekly cookouts and made their own fire.
Goodnight and be sure to check out the photos from today here.
