Hello there, everyone!

The beginning of Session 3 was sunny and warm during check-in where we welcomed our Counselors-in-Training, our 2 week campers, our Core Campers, and our 1-week campers to Timbercrest!

Our opening campfire had our usual fast & slow songs, our funny introduction to camp rules, a demonstration of our horn for fire drills, and staff skits (including a spoken word version of “Running Bear” which made everyone giggle hysterically) to make sure we all know who they are and what they do. Our opening campfires are considered a “teaching” campfire, so everyone has the chance to learn/re-learn the songs that we sing at camp. It’s a great way to get our week rolling!
