Today was a great day at Camp Timbercrest. This morning was a bit rainy, but the weather cleared up by breakfast. The JCITS continued their training with Seashell throughout the morning where they learned valuable skills for working with children.  The Hunger games group continued their week long archery competition where they have been channeling their inner Katniss.

Because it is still retro rewind week, our program director Pippin organized a caveman lunch. Everyone could only speak and sing in grunts for the entire meal! After siesta the whole camp headed down to the waterfront for all camp boating. When boating was finished the groups grabbed their cookout food and headed up to their units for cookout night. Sprucewood enjoyed delicious tacos in a bag while Strawberry Hill perfected their campfire cooking skills with pie-iron pizzas.
