Today has been a beautiful day at Camp Timbercrest. All of the girls have enjoyed taking advantage of the nice weather by spending the day outdoors. The horse girls spent the morning at the barn where they worked on their riding and horse care skills with the riding director Laci. While the horse girls were riding the Junior Counselors in Training spent the morning learning about what it takes to be a camp counselor with the CIT director Seashell.
We ended the morning with some fantastic tacos for Taco Tuesday! Today, almost the entire camp spent the afternoon on the lake. After siesta, Sprucewood, the JCITS, and the Core Camping Group paddled around the lake in kayaks, canoes, and rowboats. They all enjoyed the amazing view of camp from the middle of the lake.
After boating, the group headed over to swimming where they cooled off in the lake. Meanwhile, the tree climber girls spent the day in the trees at Sky High Adventure Park in Ellicottville, New York. These girls worked independently and as a team to challenge themselves on the ropes course. Everyone is excited to see what tomorrow has in store for us!

Hello to the four girls from troop 10167! They are all missed by their families, but we know they are having a great time! I see that they have enjoyed boating as all four are involved in the Wonders of the Water. We can’t wait to see our girls on Friday, but in the meantime, we want you to have a blast, learn new skills, make lots of friends, and most importantly, know that you are all loved! Love, Melissa (Troop 10167 Co-Leader)
