Howdy!
This afternoon, we welcomed all of our campers to Timbercrest! As they got settled, our counselors played name games, get to know you games, and talked with the kids to plan out their week at camp. Campers had the opportunity to hop in the lake to get swim tested, and cool off a bit.
Boots and Spurs completed riding evaluations, got to know the horses, and learned how to complete some of their daily barn chores. Riders got to show off their skills to the other campers!
Timbercrest at Night, combined with Holiday Happenings, and Wild and Wacky got artistic with tie dye! The girls passed the time with Gaga ball, a game similar to dodge ball, inside a wooden ring. Competition got intense!

The Fairies got to tie dye as well this afternoon after getting settled. They stopped in the trading post (the camp store) to check out what toys and accessories were there. Before dinner, they did yoga in the yard to relax.
The whole camp ended on a great note with opening camp fire, where the whole staff was introduced and the groups got the chance to lead songs.
