You think just the Girl Scouts are excited about camp? Well, the staff is as well. Just days before open house, Camp Timbercrest has already begun getting into the camp spirit.

After cleaning, organizing, and inventorying, the staff relaxed at Opening Campfire. Opening Campfire is more than just a campfire, it’s an opportunity for old camp staff to introduce songs to the new staff members. The Opening Campfire has often been referred to as the Teaching Fire so that new staff can acclimate themselves into the camp spirit.

Camp Timbercrest will be hard at work until moments before the Open House on Sunday. Comment what you are most excited for at Camp Timbercrest!
