Good morning my friends!
The last day of our 4th session at Timbercrest has begun…with lots of rain and thunderstorms so Polar Bear Swim and horse chores were canceled this morning. The sun came out and was warm during breakfast and though it’s kind of cloudy right now, there is some sun peeking through as girls pack and clean their units.
This afternoon will be a fun-filled “Around the World” themed all-camp activity, where girls will be given passports and will look for counselors to have them “stamp” them with their names and given countries. The goal is to fill your passport! I think it will be quite fun, and I’m looking forward to “hiding!”
Severe thunderstorms are forecasted for late afternoon-evening, so we are taking each activity as it comes including all-camp swim, Friday Follies (our weekly talent show), the horse show (that starts at 6), and our parent program for every other camper (that starts at 7). If the weather becomes inclement, our horse show will be canceled and our parent program will move inside the lodge. No worries–it will still be an amazing last day for our campers!
Thanks for a wonderful week!
