Camp Timbercrest is buzzing with excitement as session 2 begins. Campers spent the afternoon moving into their new homes for the next week in the woods. They also spent their time meeting new friends and reconnecting with old ones.

Three units are being used this week. The Jr. CITs can call Hawthorne Grove their home, Mud Warriors and Saddle up are living in Strawberry Hill, and Bridles and Bits along with Little Tent on the Prairie are going to have a fantastic stay in Sprucewood. All three units played many ice breaker games to get to know their fellow campers, and then had their swim tests. All of the horse girls headed down to the barn to meet the horses they will be working with throughout the week.

After a wonderful dinner of hamburgers, hot dogs, and potato salad; everyone is preparing for opening campfire where each unit will teach 3 songs to the rest of the camp! We are all looking forward to what this week has in store!
