Sunday & Monday at Timbercrest–Session 4

Hello there blog readers!

The last 24 hours have been super fun-filled and (good) crazy at Timbercrest! We are in our biggest week so far, and there is nothing like the sound and feel of a lot of campers and staff in the dining hall. Our campfire last night was its typical raucous occasion, with skits and songs done by all of our units. This week is “Around the World,” so many of the staff skits were world-themed. Of course it helps having 4 staff members from England and one from Poland! Our core campers came to campfire as well, which we always love to see.

Today (Monday) has been some day! Our core campers “Survivor Girls” made a solar still in our sports field, our “Galloping Girls” went on one awesome trail ride & lunch, our Brownies in Jackman’s Lodge have been the cutest little girls on the planet and had all kinds of fun in arts & crafts and swimming, and our oldest Fun in the Sun girls have had a great time boating and swimming as well. Tonight most of our girls will be indulging in s’mores buffets in their units, soon after “Camper’s Choice,” where a few staff give cool choices to participate in after dinner.

There will photos soon at our Flickr Link account, so keep an eye out! Please note that the photos displayed are random.
