We did not let the rain damper our spirits today! Whenever there is rain, there is always a little twist to our daily adventures! While we could not go in the lake today, we do what girl scouts do….. we improvise!

Our amazing waterfront staff brought over the canoes for our floating lunch….even though we were docked and concluded with a fun beach party with games, sliding and laughter.Then later in the day Archers and Anglers and Zombie survival Squad (hey, they need to learn to live off the land!) meandered down to the lower meadow to cast out their fishing lines in hopes for a little nibble or a big catch.

Meanwhile, in Fairyland we had the sweetest and cutest little fairies dancing and playing. Then they enjoyed a spot a tea and planted flowers. They enjoyed fluttering their wings about and enjoying time learning a bit more about nature.

To conclude we had a closing campfire with songs, laughter and a few tears as we say goodbye to this week’s friends. Now it is time to rest as we have Camp Olympics tomorrow!
