What an adventure today! So many great things were happening at camp. First our Boots and Spurs took on the trails after spending time tending to them. They meandered to Old Barn before they came back to join in other camp adventures.

We spent time in the upper meadow with our weekly picnic enjoying conversation. Our sister scouts from Piperwood joined us to share in the fun that is Camp Timbercrest. Laughter was heard throughout camp as hikes and games were played. CIT’s were working on First Aid requirements before a welcomed siesta.

Today was the day….. campers completed the Buffalo Swim! The first swimmer came in record time. Soon after units gathered to enjoy campfires and cookouts. Spider dogs and Pie Iron Pizzas were on the menu. That is except for Sprucewood. Zombies took over the Zombie Survival Squads food, so they had to be a little creative with their supper.

It was a great day and now as I write this, the stars speckle the night sky like confetti. So take the time to look up and enjoy!
