The sun is shinning, the birds are singing, and all seems right with the world. Another perfect day at Timbercrest… or is it? What’s that? Trouble brewing on the horizon?! That’s right! The Battle of the Colors continues!

Worry not friends and family, camp is still as spectacular as ever, we’re just spicing up the week with our color competitions. This morning we started our day with a team breakfast and game between red and blue team captains before splitting up and heading off to camp for the day. Our cowgirls ye-hawed off to the lake and to drama before meeting their new horse friends later that afternoon. The fairy friends spent their morning in arts and crafts before flying down to the waterfront. The fashionistas strutted their stuff in the program center and lake. And our spirited gals started some sewing projects and splashed around all afternoon. Aside from our regularly scheduled programing we of course needed a few more colorful faceoffs. We played lots and lots of “steal the bacon” where red team nearly overtook blue, and spent our afternoon playing everything from minute-to-win-it games to relay races where red and blue shared the titles. At the end of the day blue team now stands back in the lead, but red team just might have a few tricks up their sleeve.
