Welcome back, Timbercrest fans! Our first full day together could not have been more perfect as campers took their marks to race into the week. Our Ooey Gooey Goofballs made a splash with a shaving cream slip and slide, adventure in the lake, and lots of arts and crafts. Meanwhile, their Sprucewood Boots and Spurs Buddies got to meet their own horses up at the barn and had their first lesson in both riding and archery! We think they shot bullseyes in both. Our Finger Painting Friends got to visit the horses too, and with dipped their toes (or should I say fingers?) into some arts and crafts. On the other side of camp, our wonderful CIT’s got in touch with their nature-side with lots of hiking and fire building today.

Last but not least, we also opened the gates on two big adventures! Our river rascals set off on their grand adventure (stay tuned for pictures tomorrow) and the trail riding masters rode their valiant steeds into sunset for their campout night under the stars. As we round the corner into the end of the day, it’s a tight race, but we’re excited to see what the rest of the week will hold!
